In this pacifier 10, a rubber teat 2 is inserted into the hole part of a seat plate 1 to form the pacifier body and fixed by engaging with a stopper 3 which is equipped with a flange part 14 and an inserting part 3a to be inserted inside the rubber teat 2. The inserting part 3a comprises a side wall part 12 and a lid shape flat plate part 13. A flexible soft film 4 is equipped on the flange part 14. A through-hole 13a is formed on the flat plate part 13 so as to communicate a first space part 18 formed by the soft film 4 and the inserting part 3a with the inside of the rubber teat 2 via the through-hole 13a. A cap 5 is attached so as to fix the outer edge part 17 of the soft film 4 so as to communicate a second space part 23 formed by the soft film 4 and the cap 5 with the outside via a vent hole 22a formed on a bottom plate 22 of the cap 5. The first space part 18 is shut off from the outside by the soft film 4.
