Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pack cosmetic free from trouble in use and capable of persistently feeding moisture to the skin and obtaining high humectant effect.
SOLUTION: This pack cosmetic comprises (A) a film-forming polymer compound such as carboxyvinyl polymer carrageenan whose water retention ratio is ≥15% when a solution obtained by mixing the polymer compound in an amount of 1 wt.% into water is allowed to stand at 25°C for 64 hr in open system under 50% relative humidity and (B) a humectant.
