To provide a package also serving as a fan for providing contents comprising an article whose body or a packaging form is formed to be a flat plate in an outward form such as a compact disk(CD), and which can attract more attention to obtain advertising effects and can be mailed at a low cost as a non-standard size mail.

The package also serving as a fan comprises a package having sheets 1a and 1b for enclosing contents 2 whose outward form is formed to be approximately flat. The package includes the two sheets 1a and 1b which are overlaid with the contents 2 interposed and fixed at arbitrary positions in the vicinity of an outer periphery 5 to prevent the contents 2 from dropping down, a take-out means 3 which allows the contents 2 to be taken out while the vicinity of the outer periphery 5 of the two sheets 2 are fixed, and a holding portion 6 provided in the vicinity of the outer periphery 5 of the two sheets 1a and 1b fixed in the vicinity of the outer periphery 5. The package can be used as a fan with the holding portion 6 held whether or not the contents 2 are present.
