To provide a package obtained by attaching a non-contact data carrier to a product package for a general consumer of food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, daily necessities and miscellaneous goods, etc., and a product information managing method in the respective stages of manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumption and scrapping which are performed by using the package.

In the 1st performance form of this package having a non- contact data carrier, the label-shaped non-contact data carrier is attached to the package, and in the 2nd performance form, an antenna part 212 is printed on the package 1 itself, and the non-contact data carrier 21 is formed by attaching an IC chip 211 to the antenna part 212. In the 3rd performance form, the package is molded and the non-contact data carrier is subjected to in-mold molding onto the package. This product information managing method is to sequentially record product information on these packages having a non-contact data carrier and to effectively utilize the information in the respective stages of product manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumption and scrapping.
