Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a package which permits distinct printing without deteriorating light shieldability and moistureproofness and a laser marking method suitable for this package.
CONSTITUTION: The thickness of a thermoplastic resin layer 39 of the package 7 is specified to 7 to 12μm, more preferably to 8 to 10μm and the thickness of an upper adhesive layer 4 adhering this thermoplastic resin layer 39 to a metallic layer 36 is specified to 15 to 30μm more preferably to 20 to 25μm. This package 7 is printed with characters, graphics, symbols, etc., with a laser energy density of 125 to 200W/cm2, more preferably 135 to 175W/cm2. Since the laser beams evaporate the layers only down to the upper layer 37 and, therefore, the metallic layer 36 is protected by the upper adhesive layer 41 and does not crack. A white printing layer 38 is exposed from the parts where the thermoplastic resin layer 39 and the color printing layer 37 evaporate, by which the bright printing is obtd.
