Abstract:
PURPOSE: To confirm the package revision during the operation of a device and a system without cutting off the power supply of the device and the system nor pulling the package out of a cage.
CONSTITUTION: The revision code of a package is set by a switch 101 of a PK1 package 100. A PK2 package 200 is attached to the connector of the package 100. Then the confirming revision code set by a switch 201 of the package 200 is compared with the revision code set by the switch 101 through a comparator 107. When the coincidence is secured between both revision codes, an LED 116 is turned on. If not, an LED 112 is turned on. Thus an operator can confirm the revision of the package 100.
