To provide a packaging apparatus having a fixing structure in which an open blank sheet having panels corresponding to the respective faces of a rectangular packaging box is folded so as to package an article to be packaged into it, each corner on which a pair of adjacent panels abut is fixed with an adhesive such that a body flap extending from the end of one of the abutted panels at each corner is superposed on the external face of the other panel and both the panels are fixed with the adhesive, the packaging apparatus being designed to prevent the other panel from inclining inward during the joining of the panels with the adhesive.
While the body flap (211) is overlapped on the external face of the other panel (22), the external face of this panel (22) is sucked by a vacuum head (41).
