PURPOSE: To enable continuing the operation of a packaging apparatus under the optimum speed control by arranging respectively separate servomotors in main devices, by organically operating the main devices through the control of these servomotors and by separately operating respective servomotors at the time of adjustment.
CONSTITUTION: A feed roller 2 for a packaging film 1, a film feeding roller 10, a longitudinal seal roller 11, a press conveyor 14, and a lead conveyor 15 are collectively driven by a servomotor 26. An end sealer 17 is driven by a servomotor 26' and a inlet conveyor 7, by a servomotor 26". Because each motor must be initialized whenever each packaged body 6 changes, a keyboard 33 is used to set each motor from a central processor 27 by the use of a proper motor position as data. When actual operation is satisfactory, each motor is set only by the manipulation of one point key of the keyboard 33 from the next time. Thus, it is possible to perform the optimum speed control.
