To provide a packaging apparatus which prevents a container attached with water droplets from being conveyed as they are, or makes a large-sized cooling unit for obtaining a high through-put unnecessary.
The packaging apparatus 100 fills beverage in containers and packages the containers. The packaging apparatus 100 is equipped with a filling unit 10 for filling heated beverage into the containers, a sealing unit 20 for heating and melting a sealing material for a sealing part of the container and then, cooling and solidifying the sealing part by pinching it with a cooling member, a shrink packaging unit 30 for packaging the container with a shrink film, a casing unit 40 for packaging the containers, and a conveyor 60 for conveying the containers from the filling unit 10 to the casing unit 40 through the sealing unit 20. The containers are kept in an environment at ordinary temperature in a passage by the time when the containers filled completed by the filling unit 10 are supplied to the casing unit 40.
