Abstract:
The bag, designed to be made automatically from a continuous strip of thermoplastic-based film material, is produced by making cut-outs in the film layer in zones corresponding to the ends of lengthwise side pleats, fitting transverse closure strips (70) in alignment with the cutouts, forming the pleats (40, 42), and bringing the edges (14, 16) of the film sheet together to make a lengthwise central weld seam.
