To provide a packaging box made of a corrugated board which increases the commodity identifying property of a packaged commodity, increases the working efficiency of a commodity display by store workers at a retail store or the like, and at the same time, increases a visual advertisement effect to purchasers at the time of the commodity display, and can boost the purchase appealing force of the commodity to purchasers.
For this packaging box 1, a design 9 imitating a replacement pouch (an article to be packaged) 8 is printed on the external surface of the packaging box 1. The design 9 is made a design wherein when a part of the packaging box is cut along a cutting tape 10, at least a part of the remaining part of the design 9 remaining on the surface of the box, and the replacement pouch 8 housed in the box can be seen with a rough continuity in the pattern. Also, for the packaging box 1, the L* value (D65 2° visual field) (L*a*b* color system of the CIE specification) of a surface liner to be printed of the design 9 is made less than 65. At the same time, for at least one color of printing colors of the design 9 which imitates the replacement pouch, an ink of which the L* value (D65 2° visual field) after the printing becomes 65 or higher is used.
