To provide a packaging device for an object to be packaged such as vegetables which is convenient for conveyance and storage by a simple constitution, and capable of beautifully and simply storing and packaging the object to be packaged without damage.

The packaging device 1 stores the object A to be packaged in a fan shape as a whole such as vegetables in a packaging bag B with one end B1 thereof opened through an opening, and packages it. A device body 2 for loading the object A is formed so that the object A of a predetermined amount is loaded thereon and the packaging bag B can be inserted from a fore end side to a base end side through the opening at one end B1 formed in the packaging bag B. The surface of the device body 2 in contact with the object A is formed in a shape in which any friction resistance is not applied to the object, and an escape part 23 for holding the base end of the object A loaded on the device body 2 is formed at the tip of the device body 2.
