Abstract:
To provide a packaging device and a packaging method capable of packaging a packaged object by a packaging material with a simple operation in a short time regardless of a size of the packaged object.SOLUTION: A packaging device includes holding means that feeds out a specified amount of packaging material, holds a distal end of the packaging material, and includes a packaging material pressing means, a mechanism that narrows down the packaging material after the packaging material pressed by the packaging material pressing means is fed out by a set amount depending on a packaged object from a packaging material roll, and fastening means that fastens the packaging material in a state where the packaged object is packaged by the packaging material. A packaging method includes a step of feeding out of the packaging material by the specified amount, a step of holding the distal end of the packaging material, a step of further feeding out the packaging material by an amount required for packaging the packaged object, and a step of fastening a part where the packaging material overlaps the distal end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
