To simply and easily package a roll-shaped article to be packaged, and at the same time, easily perform the transfer/carrying after the packaging by a method wherein the roll-shaped article to be packaged is wrapped in a cylindrical flexible sheet, and at one part of the excessive peripheral length area, a handle-shaped hole is provided.

A roll-shaped article to be packaged 2 having the peripheral length which is shorter than the peripheral length of a flexible sheet 1, is wrapped in the cylindrical flexible sheet 1 made of a resin film with high tensile strength and tear strength, and at one part of the excessive peripheral length part 3 of the cylindrical flexible sheet 1, a hole 4 for handle is provided. Also, an area being close to the roll-shaped article to be packaged 2 on the excessive peripheral length part 3, is fixed by a means such as heat-sealing, and in addition, excessive both end parts of the cylindrical flexible sheet 1 are sealed by pleating into a circular shape and with a label or a tape, and by doing so, the article to be packaged 2 can be fixed.
