Title:
PACKAGING FILM FOR HOLDING FRESHNESS OF VEGETABLE OR FRUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3230853
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the freshness-maintaining packaging film for sealing and packaging the vegetable or fruit to suitably maintain the gas composition of the sealed system.
CONSTITUTION: The packaging film for maintaining the freshness of vegetables or fruits is characterized by forming fine holes having an average diameter of 100-300μ in a density of ≤1000 holes/m2, having an oxygen and nitrogen gas permeability of 100-900cc/24hrs.atm per fine hole and furthermore having a steam permeability of 30-300g/m2.24hrs in a RH of 90% at 40°C in order to control the oxygen and carbon dioxide gas permeability to 1000-100000cc/ m2.24hrs.atm at 23°C in the whole area of the film. The films produced from all kinds of materials permit the MA package by the sealing and packaging of vegetables or fruits, and can prevent the deterioration of the freshness of the vegetables or fruits over long periods.
