To provide a packaging film having good packaging mechanical properties and handling properties, capable of tightly packaging an article to be packaged easy to collapse in particular by its shrinkage stress while holding it to the same shape as that before packaging, excellent in packaging finish and making articles to be packaged easy to slip mutually when the articles to be packaged are put in a box or the like to facilitate packaging.

The heat shrinkage factor at 140°C, maximum heat shrinkage stress within a temperature region of 40-160°C, tensile elastic modulus or the like of the heat-shrinkable packaging film comprising an ethylenic polymer resin are specified.
