Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a packaging material for a dry food, capable of preventing the deterioration of quality caused by oxidation, and holding the taste and flavor of the food for a long time by compounding an oxygen absorbent and a deliquescent substance such as calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, lithium chloride or zinc chloride.
SOLUTION: Spherical pure soft-steel iron powder having a particle diameter of 5μm as an oxygen absorbent and powder of calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, lithium chloride, zinc chloride, etc., having a particle diameter of 20μm as a deliquescent substance are added to linear low density polyethylene beads, and premixed in a tumbling mixer in a dry atmosphere of relative humidity of ≤30%. Subsequently, the mixture is kneaded with a Banbury-type kneader at 120°C for 8min to obtain a mixture for film. Then, the resultant mixture is subjected to T-die forming by an extruder, and processed into a film at a processing temperature of 260°C. Subsequently, on the lower side of the obtained film 1 containing the oxygen absorbent and the deliquescent substance, a film 2 to become the inside film of a packaging material is laminated, and on the upper side of the film 1, another film 3 to become the outside film of the packaging material is laminated. Thus, the objective packaging material for dry food is obtained.
