To provide a packaging material for an exothermic bag to which a desired amt. of an antibacterial agent is uniformly applied, a method of manufacturing the packaging material for the exothermic bag capable of uniformly applying a desired amt. of the antibacterial agent to the packaging material and the exothermic bag using the packaging material to which a desired amt. of the antibacterial agent is uniformly applied.
A packaging material contains a uniform mixture of an antibacterial agent and a fluorescent agent. After the uniform mixture of the antibacterial agent and the fluorescent agent is added to the packaging material, the packaging material is irradiated with ultraviolet rays to grasp the dispersed state and content of the antibacterial agent along with the fluorescent agent contained in the packaging material to control the application of the antibacterial agent to the packaging material. The uniform mixture of the antibacterial agent and the fluorescent agent is added to the packaging material of at least a part of an exothermic bag to obtain the exothermic bag using the packaging material.
