This packaging method is provided with a stage for attaching one end of the strap to the lens-fitted photographic film unit in which unexposed film is previously loaded, a stage for arranging the strap on the outer surface of the lens-fitted photographic film unit, which does not abut on a carrying member when it is carried to a packaging stage, and fixing the strap to the lens-fitted photographic film unit with an adhesive tape, and a stage for including the lens-fitted photographic film unit together with the strap by bonding sheet material in a cylindrical state.
