Abstract:
To provide a package for paper product which has a plain-cut seal part with no jag that is likely to generate paper powder, has an excellent shape after packaging, is easy to open when opening from the seal part, and is hard to tear a packaging base material other than the seal part.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a package for paper product in which the entire paper product is covered with a packaging base material including at least a paper base material, and the paper product is sealed by at least one seal part. The basis weight of the packaging base material is 35 g/m2 or more and 105 g/m2 or less. The seal part is provided at an end where the packaging base materials overlap. At the end, the packaging base material is cut in a straight line so that the unevenness is 1 mm or less. When the tear strength when the packaging base material is torn in a direction parallel to a width direction of the seal part at a position other than the seal part is a tear strength A, and the tear strength when it is torn in a direction orthogonal to a tear direction of the tear strength A is a tear strength B, A is 350 mN or more and 1400 mN or less, and B/A is 1.1 or more and 4.5 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
