To provide recycled parts of a packaging unit for a photographic sensitive material free of the lowering of photographic properties.

A packaging unit for a photographic sensitive material is, e.g. a film unit with a lens. The film unit has a photographic film with a film sensitivity of ISO1,600 or above charged previously in production. Resin parts such as the front and rear covers of the film unit with a lens and the base of the unit body are crushed, the crushed material is pelletized again and the resulting regenerated resin pellets are injection-molded as part of starting materials and recycled. When the crushed material is melted by heating in injection molding, the thermoplastic resin deteriorates or degenerates thermally and the performance and quality of recycled parts lower as compared with those of new parts. When the thermoplastic resin deteriorates thermally, a harmful gas that causes a chemical reaction with a photographic sensitive material to adversely affect its photographic properties is produced in larger quantities. An antioxidant is added so as to prevent the thermal deterioration and carbon black is added so as to adsorb the produced harmful gas.
