Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet multipath routing device and a method for a computer network.SOLUTION: A device (router) maintains a flow forwarding table (FFT) accommodating an identifier of an active flow and an originating interface identifier of a related router. When a first packet representing a new flow reaches the router, the originating interface identifier is selected using the existing method using a routing table. Next, the packet is led to an originating interface according to the FFT. The routing table is used to form relationship between the flow identifier in the FFT and the originating interface.
