To prevent a structure for accurately stacking packing object articles from becoming an obstacle to another structure of a packing apparatus arranged below a packing member in the packing apparatus for stacking the packing object articles.

The packing apparatus is equipped with an stacking part 1 for vertically stacking a plurality of the packing object articles in the packing member. The stacking part 1 is equipped with a dropping-down part 13 for dropping down successively the articles into the packing member from above the packing member, a temporarily receiving part for receiving the articles dropped down by the dropping-down part 13 before they reach the bottom part of the packing member and placing them, and a supporting part for the temporarily receiving part. The supporting part is arranged higher than the bottom part of the packing member, and holds the temporarily receiving part at a position lower than the dropping-down part and higher than the bottom part of the packing member. In addition, the supporting part releases the placed article toward the bottom part of the packing member by operating the temporarily receiving part.
