PURPOSE: To provide a packing apparatus which is good in appearance.

CONSTITUTION: This packing apparatus comprises side plates 1, end plates 2, a bottom plate 3 and a lid plate 4, wherein opposite joint ends of the side plates 1 and the end plates 2 are perpendicularly joined so that they can be engaged with/disengaged from each other by a mortise joint locking part including a recess 6 and a protrusion 5 which are engaged with each other and formed respectively on internal corners of the joint ends. In addition, an inner side face 7a of a cover piece 7 integrally protruding from one of the opposite joint ends is brought into contact with an end face 2a of the other joint end, while a tip face 7b of the cover piece 7 is placed on a plane with an outer side face 2b of the other joint end. Through holes 10 passing through a plurality of the protrusions 5 are provided on the mortise joint locking part, coupling pins are removably inserted into the through holes 10, and the bottom plate 3 and the lid plate 4 are fitted to the upper and lower faces of the side plates 1 and the end plates 2.
