Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit an adhesive bonding of container units with an adhesive agent and a sightly separation thereof from each other as required, by forming endless cuts in the attaching portion of a container unit from its outer to inner face reaching halfway the thickness of container cardboard and coating the outer face of a joining portion surrounded by the cuts with an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:Each attaching portion 4 of an individual container unit 1 is provided with a plurality of endless cuts 10 penetrating halfway the thickness of container cardboard from its outer to inner face and the outer face of a joining portion 11 surrounded by the cuts 10 is coated with an adhesive 12 high in adhesive strength. The two container units 1 are juxtaposed with their end face materiels 6 in contact with each other, resulting in a firm attachment between the adhesive 12 of container units 1, whereby a long packing container (a) can be formed. When the adjoining container units 1 are sharply pulled apart in the lateral direction, the joining portions 11 of one container unit 1 are separated from its attaching portion 4 and bonded to those of the attaching portion 4 of the other container unit 1, whereby these two container units 1 can be separated from each other.
