Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing device which can be easily disposed and kept in accordance with the shape of the cushioning face of an article to be packed and which does not degrade the cushioning capacity. SOLUTION: A cushioning member 2 is constituted of the first cushioning member 2a having flaps 5, 11 at the four sides of a square side plate 4 and forming two mutually close folding lines at the nearly central part, and the second cushioning member 2b provided with flaps at least at two oppositely arranged sides of the square side plate 19 having the same size with the side plate of the first cushioning plate 2a or a little smaller size than that and provided with folding lines at the nearly central part of the flaps respectively. And the first elastic leg is formed by the flaps of the second cushioning member 2b and the first elastic leg is placed so as to contact the side plate of the first cushioning member 2a. The flaps 5, 11 of the first cushioning member 2a are bent at nearly right angles to the side with which the second cushioning member 2 is in contact and further, the two folding lines are bent at nearly right angles to fix them to the side plate 19 of the second cushioning member 2b and integrally connect them.
