Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a return part of a packing used in joining a horizontal branch pipe to the drain pipe from being interfered with a concrete slab when a socket of a drain pipe joint is executed as close as possible.
SOLUTION: In a structure where a packing 2 is fitted to a socket 1 of a drain pipe joint, a return part 2e which is expanded in the returning direction and elastically holds an end part of the socket 1 is provided on an end part of the packing 2, a stepped part 1b to which the return part 2e is fitted, is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the end part of the socket 1 to suppress the projection of the return part 2e from the outer circumferential surface of the socket 1.
