Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the resistances to heat, weather and yellowing by incorpo rating specific antioxidants and light stabilizer in a composition comprising a crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer, an elastomer and an inorganic filler.
CONSTITUTION: The composition is prepared by incorporating 0.03-0.20 pts.wt. organophosphorus antioxidant, 0.05-0.30 pts.wt. hindered phenol antioxidant which contains no nitrogen atom and has a molecular weight of 500 or more, 0.05-0.40 pts.wt. nitrogenous hindered phenol antioxidant and 0.05-0.50 pts.wt. hindered amine light stabilizer having no N-H bond in 100 pts.wt. composition comprising 45-75wt.% crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer, 20-35wt.% elastomer and 5-15wt.% inorganic filler.
