Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate serial packing works, reduce the packing time enhance the working efficiency and reduce the production cost, uniformalize the packed condition to increase the commodity value, and further, simplify the apparatus and easily miniaturize it.
CONSTITUTION: A container 5 like a bottle is covered with a longer cylindrical thermo-adhesive packing material 3 than the container 5 so that the material is projected from the bottom of the container 5 at the one end thereof and also projected from the opening of the container 5 at the other end. One end of the packing material 3 covering the container 5 is folded back in the radial direction and the folded-back end is stuck with heat and then the packing material 3 is relatively moved against the container 5 so as to extend it. Hereafter, the other end of the packing material 3 is twisted to band by a binder under a parallelly arranged state with the opening 5b side of the container 5.
