Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transport cut flowers without withering, by sticking a water- retaining sheet to the inner face of a water-impermeable resin sheet and packing the cut flowers in the water-soaked condition on the sheet.
CONSTITUTION: Polyethylene film 1 for instance is used for a water-impermeable resin film and a pulp non-woven fiber 2 is laminated with an adhesive 3 on the polyethylene film as a water-retaining sheet to form a packing sheet material W1. In this case, an ethylene gas adsorber having SiO2Mg as the chief component is kneaded in a water-impermeable resin film 1. Vinyl acetate is used as an adhesive 3.
