To provide an easy, convenient packing method for long materials which prevents a stack of long members having asymmetric vertical sections from being displaced or falling from a pallet.
A box-like middle support frame 5 having partitions 4, in which insertion parts 3 for receiving long materials 2 are formed, are disposed in the middle of the pallet 1. Also, box-like end support frames 6a and 6b having an L-shaped vertical section and height that is the same as the middle support frame 5 are disposed at the longitudinal ends of the pallet 1. Long materials 2 are disposed sidewise between the partitions 4 of the middle support frame 5, which has the insertion parts 3, and the end support frames 6a and 6b. Further, a second middle support frame 5 and second end support frames 6a are arranged on the previous middle support frame 5 and the previous end support frames 6a and 6b on the pallet 1. Thereafter, the middle support frames 5 and the end support frames 6a and 6b arranged in a stack are encircled with bands 7 together with the pallet 1 in order to pack them.
