To provide a packing method of a strip member suppressed in outward expansion of a cylindrical body of the strip member in the radial direction.SOLUTION: In a packing method S of a strip member for packing a cylindrical body of the strip member cylindrically formed by spirally winding the strip member, a film winding process S3 is performed in which a film is spirally wound on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body of the strip member along the circumferential direction of the cylindrical body of the strip member, in such a manner that at least parts of adjacent films in the axial direction of the cylindrical body of the strip member overlap with each other in the radial direction of cylindrical body of the strip member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
