Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a packing method for blood sample tube containing water or water supplementing material in which adhesion of water droplet is prevented at the time of unpacking, while facilitating manipulation, by imparting water repellency to the surface of the blood sample tube.

CONSTITUTION: In the packing method where a synthetic resin blood sample tube containing aqueous solution of medicine and water or water supplementing material discharging water depending on the steam pressure in the blood sample tube are contained in a hermetically sealed bag or container made of a material scarcely permeating steam, water repellency is imparted to the surface of the blood sample tube. Water repellency is imparted by immersing the synthetic resin blood sample tube into an aqueous solution containing 30g/l of fluorine water repellent, drying the tube at 130°C for 5min, and then curing the repellent at 180°C for 2min. This blood sample tube prevents wetting of hand when the tube is taken out from a package containing water thus facilitating manipulation. Furthermore, evaporation of water from the tube is prevented thus suppressing deterioration of medicine in the tube.
