Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent bulging of sealing material by providing an annular groove on the outer peripheral face of an outer periphery and putting a ring type sealing material in the annular groove, in a packing having a ring type sliding member whose outer periphery is formed of sealing sliding material made of resin. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 4 is engraved on the outer peripheral face 3 side of an outer periphery 1 formed of sealing sliding material made of resin in which a buckling 2 is fit inside thereof, and a ring type sealing material 5 is put into the groove. As the sealing material forming the outer periphery, resin material such as teflon having a small friction coefficient and large mechanical strength so as to suppress any deformation caused by applied pressure.
