Regarding the packing sheet 1 for a pressure cylinder for an intaglio printing machine, the packing sheet is constituted of a thermosetting resin selected out of groups such as phenol resin, unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethane resin, alkyd resin, epoxy resin and urea resin or the mixture of those. Further, in the packing sheet for a pressure cylinder, the surface hardness of at least a certain area in the surface area is different from that in other areas.
