Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect parts of an object to be transferred on a pallet protruding to the sides of detector supporting frames by pivotally installing the detector supporting frames on the front side of movable bases to be capable of turning freely in a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder unit 11 is driven to move movable bases 8A, 8B on the right and left forward to make them close to each other. Pallet contacting members 15A, 15B contact the right and left sides of a pallet 2, and relative retreat to detector supporting frames 12A, 12B against a spring 18 is detected by a limit switch 19, when the forward motion of the movable bases 8A, 8B by the cylinder unit 11 is stopped. If the right and left sides of the pallet 2 are inclined a little to the transfer direction of a conveyor 1, parallel attitude is obtained by turning motion of the detectors 12A, 12B around a vertical shaft 13 against either a right or a left spring 14 as the pallet contacting members 15A, 15B contact the sides of the pallet 2.
