PURPOSE: To enable loading of different products in a packaging system that loads cans or the like into a carton by dividing products carried with a plurality of conveyor lanes and stellar wheels into respective groups with predetermined quantity and carrying to load by using buckets.

CONSTITUTION: Products 18 are fed into stellar wheel feeders 24a-24n by means of conveyor lanes 22a-22b. And sensors 27a-27n provided on the conveyor lanes 22a-22b conduct speed control of the stellar wheel feeders 24a-24n. A plurality of short or long can-selector bars 30, 31 are adjustably provided downstream of each feeder 24a-24n, and the number of cans 18 sent to a bucket conveyor 26 is divided in accordance with each required number, for instance two or three. In this manner, products are divided into groups with desired number, carried along the bucket conveyor 26 and loaded into cartons.
