PURPOSE: To provide the pad of an airbag device which can prevent floating up of the peripheral side of a lower end surface on which inserting grooves are formed, even the inserting grooves for inserting regulated walls for installing a pad on an airbag device main body by holding its peripheral edge are formed on the lower end surface of the peripheral edge.
CONSTITUTION: A pad 2 is installed on an airbag device main body MO by holding its side wall 2B between an engagingly locking wall 40 which is inserted into an engagingly locking groove 20 formed on the inner circumferential surface and regulated walls 50.52 which are inserted into inserting grooves 21.25 formed on the lower end surface. Each inserting grooves 21 is composed of plural inserting groove parts divided into parts in a longitudinal direction by a rib 23 connecting together side walls 24n24 of the inner circumferential surface of the inserting groove 21. the projected part 51 on the top end of the regulated wall 50 is inserted into each of the inserting groove part.
