To relatively enlarge a print pattern formation part without being constrained by a magnitude of an ink holding cup, in a pad printing device which slidably fixes the ink holding cup on a plate including the print pattern formation part so as to hold a printing ink.

The pad printing device comprises a case 10 filled with a volatile solution therein, the plate 30 can move between a printing position being a position in which the print pattern formation part 31 opposes a printing pad 40 and a standby position in which the print pattern formation part 31 is stored in the case 10, the ink holding cup 20 is positioned in the case 10, and has an opening 22 for filling an ink to the print pattern formation part 31 on the plate 30, an area surrounded by the opening 22 on the plate 30 is formed small compared with the print pattern formation part 31, and during the plate 30 moves between the printing position and the standby position, the opening 22 slides on the print pattern formation part 31 and fills the ink to an etching part of the print pattern formation part 31.
