PURPOSE: To save a trouble for changing pages by equipping the title processor with a mans to instruct the change of a page position in a document, a means to designate the page position of a change source, a means to designate the page position of a change destination, and a means to move the contents of the change source to the change destination.

CONSTITUTION: The processor is composed of a display device 1, a keyboard 2 having a page changing key, a display page designating means 3, a change destination page designating means 4, and a page moving means 5. Editing processing is executed with a key input step, an end key detecting step, a page changing key detecting step, a character output step, a change page designating step, a change destination page designating step, a page moving step, and a step for writing to a floppy. Thus, the trouble to change the pages while moving the document for each page in the document having many number of pages can be eliminated.
