Abstract:

To obtain a clip having a high effect with a simple structure for eliminating turning-over or closing of a page by constituting to hold a backbone of a book and opened pages by using a material having elasticity.

The page clamping clip comprises pawls 1 for holding a part of a backbone of a book, protrusions 2 for retaining opened pages, and protrusions 3, 4 for engaging fingers to open the clip. In this constitution, when an index finger and a ring finger are respectively engaged with the protrusions 3, 4 and the protrusion 4 is pressed by a thumb, the clip is opened in a pantograph-like state. The backbone of the book 5 is sandwiched between the two pawls 1 and 1 of inside, and a back cover and the opened pages of the book 5 are sandwiched between the protrusions 2 of an arm having elasticity and extended in opposite directions from its both sides. In the case of turning over the page, the page is displaced in an obliquely downward direction from the protrusions 2 of the arm, the protrusions 2 of an opposite side are lightly raised, and the page is slid. The pawls 1 and the protrusions 2 brought into contact with the book 5 may be made slip-proofing such as knurling, a rubber or the like.
