Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the page description program processor which can prepare the page description program while eliminating the redundancy.
CONSTITUTION: A page description program processor 10 provided with a description part 4 described with the instruction group of a page description language from input document data and preparing means for preparing a page description program composed of a definition part defining the instruction of the description part 4 is provided with a judging means for judging whether each definition in a procedure definition part 4a of the page description program is referred to by the instruction of a page description part 4a or not when the preparing means prepares the page description program and a processing means for outputting the program while adding only the definition, which is judged to be referred to by the instruction of the description part 4 by the judging means, to the description part 4 as the definition part 4a. Since the page description program prepared in this case eliminates the redundancy and reduces the data amount, processing speed for transfer processing or analysis processing is accelerated.
