Title:
PAGE SUPPORT JIG FOR BOOK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09156254
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To support a book in an opened state without using the hand to turn over a page by providing a base stand 2 to the central part of a plate member 1 having a shape bent upwardly at both left and right and parts thereof at an acute angle.

The bound part of a book is inserted into an elongated rectangular base stand to be fixed to the central part of a plate member 1. The pages of the book are opened and the pages separated left and right are respectively inserted into the left and right bent shape parts bent at an acute angle of the plate member 1 to be pressed to support the book in an opened state. When the book is read in this state and a page is turned over, the page is extracted from the bent shape part of the plate member 1 by the hand and inserted into the bent shape part on the opposite side. By this constitution, the book can be supported in an opened state without using the hand to be read and the page can be turned over by the hand with the advance of reading.
