PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a page-turner and a document camera system with improved reliability in turning pages enabled with improved page holding feature.SOLUTION: A page-turner 3 is used for turning pages P of a book B. The page-turner 3 comprises: an arm part 34 including a suction part 35 disposed at a tip portion that holds the page P of the open book B by sucking the a turning-start position on the pages P and by oscillating the suction part 35 in to-and-fro manner over the turning start position and a turning-end position on the page P such that the suction part 35 is separated from the page P at the turning-end position on the page P; and a first driving part 33 that oscillates the arm part 34 around a drive shaft 32. When the suction part 35 touches the page P at the turning-start position on the page P, an effective surface of the suction part 35 touches the page P obliquely, so that holding performance during the page P turning operation can be enhanced to turn the page P further securely.
