To provide a page turning-over apparatus which has a simple operation, no noise and vibration and excellent safety by setting a reading book of a standard to the apparatus, confirming the right and left bindings, and then turning over the text sheets one by one at each time of pressing a button.

The cover of a rightward turn-over book 2 is held by a folder of a set base 3, and set to a set rod 1 of the page turning-over apparatus. The sucker 20 of an arm 6 with a sucker is always stopped at the position of the left end side upper part of the left surface of the book page. When a manual button 41 is pressed, a vacuum pump 42 is operated, an arm tube 6 with the sucker is moved down to suck the page by the sucker 20. As a rising cam board 31 rises, the tube 6 mounting on a cam base 10 is simultaneously moved from the left page sheet to the right sheet by the drive of a small-sized deceleration inversion motor 35. At the time of moving to the right, the tube 6 is fixed with a bevel rack gear 17, rotated counterclockwise around own axis, reversely rotated at the right rear page while remained sucking the page. In the case that it becomes symmetrical to the left page, the pump 42 is stopped, the turned- over page is separated from the sucker 20.
