To provide a page turning-over device in which the turning-over in the forward direction and the reverse direction can be performed, inserted booklets of various kinds and shapes can be surely turned over page by page and the booklets are securely handled.
A hollow structure is provided on a site being in contact with booklets of a page turning-over means, and information of the length of the booklets can be obtained by a sensor 9 before turning-over the pages by a page turning-over means. The length of the booklets to be turned over is obtained, and the optimum back book stop positions for respective various kinds and shapes of the bank books are adjusted automatically, and if the turning-over of the pages is failed, the bankbook stop positions are shifted in the forward and backward directions to securely turn over the pages.
