This page turning-over device consists of a conveying mechanism for reciprocatingly conveying the medium, a conveying guiding surface, which is provided in the midway of the conveying passage of the conveying mechanism and has a plane for seating the medium to be conveyed, a turning-over roller provided above the conveying guiding surface, a driven roller provided adjoining to the turning-over roller and rotatably on its rotating shaft, a feed roller provided so as to advance to and retreat from the driven roller, a depressed stripe groove, which opposes to the rotating shaft and is provided along the shaft center direction of the rotating shaft on the conveying guiding surface and a feed roller controlling means, which advances the feed roller so as to abut against the driven roller at the first half rotation of the turning-over roller and retreats the feed roller so as to separate from the driven roller side at the second half rotation of the turning-over roller at the page turning-over of the medium by one rotation of the turning-over roller.
