Abstract:
To provide a coating composition for adding excellent antifouling property to a substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided a coating modifier containing a fluorine-containing polymer having a repeating unit derived from a fluorine-containing monomer represented by (a) formula:CH=C(-X)-C(=O)-Y-Z-Rf, wherein X is a hydrogen atom, a monovalent organic group or a halogen atom, Y is -O- or -NH-, Z is a direct bond or a bivalent organic group, Rf is a perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and a repeating unit derived from a non-fluorine monomer which is a (meth)acrylate ester monomer represented by (b) formula:CH=CA-C(=O)-O-A, wherein Ais a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, a cyano group, a substituted or unsubstituted benzyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, or a halogen atom other than a fluorine atom, and Ais a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
