PURPOSE: To make the thickness of an adhesive agent constant and uniform by sliding a screen contg. the adhesive agent together with the rotation of a disc thereby coating the adhesive agent on the outside circumferential surface of the disc which is attached by a shrinkage fit to the rim of a two-piece wheel.

CONSTITUTION: A disc 1 is inserted into a rotating jig 2, and a shaft 5 is moved upward, via a crank mechaism 7, by a motor 6. Then the jig 2 on a base 3 ascends and at the same time, a squeegee 15 and a recovering plate 32 are lowered by a lever 12. An adhesive agent-contg. screen 16 between the disc 1 and the squeegee 15 is thus pressed onto the outside circumferential surface of the disc 1. On the other hand, the screen 16 is fixed onto a plate 36 attached to a plate 27 and the plate 27 is slided by a guide roll 25 and a support roll 26 in follow up to the traveling of a chain 23. As a result, the screen 16 is slided while it is pressed to the outside circumferential surface of the disc 1, whereby the adhesive agent is coated on the ouside circumferential surface of the disc 1. The plate 32 recovers the adhesive agent protruded to both sides into a prescribed place.
