To provide a painting method for a shoulder inside a tunnel, which allows the shoulder to make a superior recovery from contaminations by a cleaning, such as a brush cleaning and the like, thus making it possible to maintain a good visibility of the inside of the tunnel.

The painting method is provided for the shoulder of the tunnel, which is formed as a step higher than a roadway by the height of the step.
